Founded in 2009





About us

Founded in the year 2009, TheSize Surfaces is a young company with a great vocation for exporting and its directors' more than 40 years of experience in the natural stone sector.

In 2010, it launched its first slab under the Neolith® brand onto the market aiming to provide an innovative response to the architecture and interior design sectors. It was a new type of material with extraordinary characteristics which is appropriate for interiors and exteriors. Since then, TheSize has been consolidating itself in the world market with the Neolith® product as the pioneer and leading Sintered Stone Surface in its sector.

More recently, in the year 2014, TheSize launched Granith®, its new product line comprised of a collection of 12 natural granites in different finishes which is so singular and elegant, it transforms atmospheres into pure and exotic spaces with great visual force.

Thus, TheSize is reinforcing its passion for natural materials by presenting two major product categories: Neolith®, 100% natural Sintered Stone Surfaces and Granith, its select range of Natural Granites.

E4IN12/2019/17: INSTALACIÓN DE SISTEMA DE CONTROL DE O2 Y PRESIÓN EN HORNO 3.

Subvención concedida: 11.034,00 €

The project consists of the installation of an analyzer system for continuous combustion atmospheres in a single-channel kiln with ceramic rollers, for the real-time verification of the levels of% O2, temperature and static pressure existing for each product and format. This will allow the relevant regulations to be made in the furnace to optimize combustion, both from the point of view of energy efficiency and the reduction of emissions and the improvement of the quality of the final product.

Mediante la instalación de este sistema, se ha conseguido un ahorro energético del 1,8 % en la línea afectada, así como una reducción de la emisión de contaminantes a la atmósfera.

E4IN12 / 2018/20: INSTALLATION OF O2 CONTROL SYSTEM AND OVEN PRESSURE 2.

Subsidy granted: € 9,078.00

The project consists of the installation of an analyzer system for continuous combustion atmospheres in a single-channel kiln with ceramic rollers, for the real-time verification of the levels of% O2, temperature and static pressure existing for each product and format. This will allow the relevant regulations to be made in the furnace to optimize combustion, both from the point of view of energy efficiency and the reduction of emissions and the improvement of the quality of the final product.

By installing this system, an energy saving of 2% has been achieved in the affected line, as well as a reduction in the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere.

E4IN12/2017/45: INSTALLATION OF A HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM FROM OVEN 3 TO DRYER 3.

Grant awarded: €60,658.59

The project involves the installation of collectors and the necessary pipes to connect the cooling stack from one of the ovens to the dryer in addition to the installation of an engine with a fan for hot air impulsion as well as the necessary control and regulation elements.
Contaminants into the atmosphere dropped after installing the heat recovery system from the oven to the dryer. The % of energy savings is estimated at 35% of the affected line.

E4IN12/2017/44: INSTALLATION OF PRESSURE ADJUSTERS FOR A PID FREQUENCY DRIVE.

Grant awarded: €3,204

The project involves the installation of a pressure transducer with automatic PID control of the engine speeds based on the aspiration system needs.

After installation of the system, the % of energy savings is estimated at 5%.

E4IN12/2017/46: REPLACEMENT OF CONVENTIONAL LIGHTING WITH THE MOST EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY FOR SOME PLANT AREAS.

Grant awarded: €9,974.85

The project consists of continuing with the replacement already being carried out in Warehouses 1, 3 and 4 where there are still metal halide hoods for the lighting with TL5 HO fluorescent lamps, a high-light output system.

After installation of the system, the % of energy savings is estimated at 62%.
